Materials: copper sheeting, plastilene clay, acrylic paint, gauze.

This is an early installation involving viscera-like objects and a sawblade cut from copper, the most organic-colored of the metals. The sawblade appears to come out of the corner and is frozen in mid-spin, ostensibly threatening to cut through the strands of viscera. Bit of a gross-out, I guess; but also an attempt to remind the viewer, standing in the anticeptic whiteness of the gallery, of his or her own flesh and its vulnerability.
